Characteristic of the race:

Šediváčkův long is the longest sleddog race in the Czech republic and also one of the hardest races in Europe. It is a four day stagerace on the shoulders of the Orlické mountains, including one bivouac. The race is rated as Czech championship in LONG-distance and, this year for the first time, as European chamionship in LONG- and MID-distance. Since the year 2002 Šedivačkův long is part of the extreme sleddog raceseries for the title of the IRON SLED DOG MAN

daily at 9:00 am - in front pension Kristýna in Jedlové v Orlických horách

Number of competitors:

140 teams from 11 countries of Europe

Nations taking part in European championship:

Belgium, ČR, Denmark, France, Holland, Italy, Monaco, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland.

Racedistance:

222 km (LONG); 120 km (MID)

Program:

The race is sceduled from Wendsday to Saturday, bivouac is planed on Thursday ( LONG); from Wednesday to Friday the MID race.
