Dnesniden zacal prekvapivym a necekanym hustym snezenim s teplotami tesne pod nulou. Skoro idealni podminky. Nahore na hrebenech foukalo a na strane, ktera jeste vcera byla zavetrna se tvorily neprijemne az metr vysoke naveje. Z tezkych sedych mraku, ktere sedely na Velke Destne, obcas prestavalo snezit. Start v devet hodin probehl hladce. Ucast divaku byla primerena. V predchoziich etapach jedna tretina zavodniku odstoupila do turisticke kategorie. Prvni zavodnik projizdel stanovistem na Velke Destne za necele dve hodiny po startu. Tou dobou uz nahore na hrebenech vykukovalo slunce, ktere ohiivalo zada prokrehlym musherum. Do cile dnes prvnii dorazil zavodniik ze Svycarska Silvan Lanz, ktery jel celou cestu jako drak, ale i pres jeho neuveritelny vykon jiz nedohnal ztratu z prvniho dne a skoncil v celkovem poradi az za viiteznym Michalem Merhautem. Zavodni pole dnes uzavrel Holger Steiner z Nemecka. Vyhlaseni vitezu se zucastnila a ceny predavala senatorka a byvala starostka Destneho Vaclava Domsova a za polskou stranu mistostarostka obce Dusniki Zdroj. Po ocenenii vsech zucastnenych se cast musheru rozjela na cestu domu a ti, kteri jeste zustali, se mohou bavit a tancit za zvuku country a bluegrass kapely.

Organizatori dekuji vsem zucastnenym a tesi se na dalsi, v poradi jiz dvanacty rocnik v roce 2008.

Today started with surprising and unexpected heavy snowing with the temperatures little bellow zero. Almost the ideal conditions. On tops of the mountains the wind was strongly blowing and on the non-windy side yesterday were today one metre high snow flurries. From the grey and heavy clouds sitting on the top of Velka Destna mountain only sometimes stopped snowing. The start went smoothly at 9am. The were about 50 spectators watching the amazing start of the dogs and their mushers. During the previous days about one third of mushers changed cathegories into the touristic. The first musher went through Velka Destna checkpoint about two hours after the start. At that time it was possible to see some sunny intervals and the sun warmed the frozen backs of mushers. The first in the finish today came the Swiss competitor Silvan Lanz, who went all the trail today as fast as a dragon but inspite of his incredible ride today he did not manage to catch up the time lost in the first day and in the final counting he was behind the first Michal Merhaut. The last competitor who finished the trail today was Holger Steiner from Germany. For the final ceremony and prize giving we welcomed the lady senator and former chairwoman of Destne Mrs.Vaclava Domsova and lady vice-chairwoman of the Polish Dusniki Zdroj.After the ceremony part of mushers set on their way home and those who stayed could enjoy their time by dancing and listening to the sounds of country-bluegrass music group.

The organizers thank all who took part this year very much and they look forward to the next year ? the 12th Sedivackuv Long 2008

Po dnesnii sniidani na polske strane, se kterou byli vsichni musheri velmi spokojeni, se podarilo prvnimu sprezeni odstartovat v osum a poslednimu v devet hodin. Hladky prujezd polskou stranou koncil zpet na prechodu u Masarykovi chaty, kde nam matka priroda nadelila dalsi centimetry cerstveho prasanu. Mlha, ktera stoupala z udoli byla velmi neprijemna, ale behem tri hodin se rozpustila a slunce prozarilo vlocky poletujici mezi stromy. Vitr foukal jen kratce, kdyz prisly mraky a snezeni, to ale do dvou hodin ustalo. Na trat odstartovalo 27sprezenii, 1skiering a 1 pulka. Zkracenou trat KO od Jelenky vyuzily pouze 4 sprezeni. Posledni zavodnik s cislem 1 v kategorii LP se nevzdal a jel dnes celou trat, za coz mu patri obdiv. Rozhodl se az po te, co se poradil se svymi psy. I zavodnik SKJ odjel vetsinu dnesni trate, jen tesne pred cilem se zalekl prudkeho klesani po sjezdovce a trat objel po zasnezenych loukach. Prvni zavodnik, ktery dnes dorazil do ciile byl Michal Merhaut, za nim Ctirad Tyroler a jako dalsi Honza Teichman a Honza Ochozka s desetisprezim, ktery je vyhlaseny svymi nevsednimi zazitky z trati, ale dnes se jeho jizda obesla bez karambolu. Jako posledni zavodnik do cile dorazil zavodnik cislo 1 Gunter Weiss. Vsichni zavodniici se v ciili postarali o sve psi a uz se tesi na vecerni bujarou zabavu.

After the morning breakfast on the Polish side, which everybody liked very much, the first dogsled managed to start at 8am and he last at 9am. The non-complicated part through Poland finished on the boarder crossing by the Masarykova challet, where the mother nature gave us more fresh and powdery snow. The fog, which was rising up from the valley, was very unpleasant, but it disappeared during the three hours and then the sun started to glitter in the falling flakes of snow among the trees. The wind was blowing only shortly when there came the clouds and snowing, but all this stop in two hours. There started 27 dogsleds, 1 skiering and 1 LP halfsled-pulka. There were only 4 mushers who used the shortage at KO Jelenka junction. It is amazing that the last musher with no.1 SKJ ? pulka did not give up and went round the fullength trail. He decided to after he ?had a discussion? with his dogs. Also the skiering competitor went all the trail only shortly before the finish at Matous he was afraid to go straight down the ski piste and went round on the local snowy meadows. The first musher to finish todayZs part was Michal Merhaut, then Ctirad Tyroller and as next Honza Teichman and Honza Ochozka, who is known for his repeated famous crashes and experiences on the trail and whose day was fortunately without and complications today. The last at finish was the mentioned pulka Gunter Weiss. All mushes looked after their dogs and now they are relaxing in Kristyna restaurant and looking forward to the joyfull evening entertaning program.

V noci na dnesek se oslavovala snehova nadilka, ktera umoznila dnesni start v deset hodin po planovane trati v delce 50km. Na start se postavilo 39 zavodniku z Cech, Nemecka, Rakouska, Svycarska a Belgie, z toho bylo 37 psich sprezeni, jedna pulka a jeden skiering. Dnesni cil je na polske strane, kde je i bivak. Ocekavaji se teploty az minus 20C. Vcerejsi nocni snehova nadilka vylepsila stav cele trate, takze ji dnes zavodnici absolvovali bez problemu a uzivali si slunecneho pocasi na hrebenech s teplotami okolo minus 10C. Viitr pretrvaval pouze na navetrne strane smerem do Polska. Sedm z dnesiich zavodniku vyuzilo moznosti zkraceni trate na turistickou tridu a odpoledne se vratilo na stake out na Kristynu.
Vecer probehne kratky briefing pomocniku, kteri budou muset zitra rano brzy znovu na trat. Start z bivaku bude v osm hodin s delkou trate okolo 40km a ciilem zpatky na stakeoutu u Kristyny.

Yesterday night the mushers were amusingly celebrating the snowfall. It enabled the organizers to start he competition at 10.04AM. Todays track was 50km long and there went 39mushers from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzeland and Belgium.Out of them were 37 dog sleds, 1 pulka and 1 skiering. The dogs and mushers will arrive to Poland tonight where will be the bivouac. The expected temperatures are about minus 20C at night. The snowfall yesterday improved the trail condition so today there were no bigger problems and the mushers could enjoy the beautiful sunny day on the mountain ridges with the temperatures about minus 10C. The wind continued only in the open windy sides towards Poland. Seven mushers took the chance to come back to the stakeout via the KO track.
There will be a short briefing of the helpers tonight. They all will have to get up early in the morning and be back on the trail. The start out of the bivouac will be at 8am and the trail tomorrow is about 40km long. The finish is back at the stakeout Kristyna.

Dnes rano v deset hodin postupne vystartovalo 39 musheru na trat dlouhou 50 km s cilem na bivaku, na polske strane v oblasti Czerne Bagno. Zavodu se ucastni 19 musheru z cech a 20 musheru ze zahranici. V kategorii skiering odstartoval jeden zavodnik.

Na trati je dostatek snehu, mista bez snehu zmizela uplne. Na hrebenech sviti slunicko. Nadherna zima dorazila na objednavku zcela na posledni chvili, ale je tu. Jak to ten Kucera dela???

39 mushers are on the trail since 10am. The trail is 50 km long today. The finish line is on Polish site of the border in the Czerne Bagno-National park. 19 mushers from czech and 20 mushers from abroad taking part in the race. We have one competitor in category skiering .

On the all trail is enough snow. The sun is shining on the top of the mountains. Beautifull winter is here, it came in the last moment but it is here. Nobody knows how Kucera did it ???

Zitra ve ctvrtek 25.1.2007 vyrazi musheri na trat dlouhou 50 km s cilem na bivaku. Cestovni pasy sebou! Startovka stale otevrena!!!

Mushers can expect the trail for 50 km with finish in bivaque tommorow 25th of January 2007. Don't forget your passport! The start list is still not closed yet!!!

Zprava od Rampusaku o trati:

Vcera vecer, kdyz jsme prijizdeli foukal velmi silny vitr a snezilo. Prvni stopy snehu se objevovaly asi deset kilometru pred Destnym v Orlickych Horach. Behem noci vitr jeste zesiloval a snezeni houstlo. Sila vetru se zacla zmensovat az okolo seste rano. Od te doby uz jen huste snezilo. K nasi smule snih, ktery napadl v prubehu noci, byl na otevrenych useciich vyfoukan az na zmrzlou zem. V devet hodin rano probehl prvnii briefing a bylo rozhodnuto o odlozeni startu na 13h, aby byl cas lepe zkontrolovat a pripravit trat. Byl zjisten usek priblizne peti kilometru, na kterem stale neni snih. Start dnesni etapy byl proto zrusen. Ted odpoledne stale snezi, ale vitr uz tolik nefouka. Prozatim je rozhodnuto, ze by se rano melo odstartovat. V prubehu odpoledne a vecera se budeme jeste snazit zjistovat aktualnii stav trati.

The recent news from Rampusak from Destne:

Yesterday evening when we were coming to Destne there was strong wind blowing and it was heavilly snowing. The first tracks of now were visible about ten kilometres before Destne in Orlicke Mountains. During the night the wind and the snowing got even stronger.At about 6am the wind was stopping and lost its strength. Since then it has been only snowing. Unfortunatelly the snow that fell down during the night was blowned away in the open areas and there stayed only the frozen ground. At 9am the first briefing took place and it was decided that the official start would be postponed to 1pm so there would be more time to check and prepare the trail. It was found out that there is still one part of the trail about five kilometres which is still without snow. The start of todays part was cancelled. Now in the afternoon it is still snowing and the wind is blowing not so much. For now it is decided that the start will be at 10am tomorrow morning. During the afternoon and night we will be still trying to check the recent trail situation.

Informace k XI. rocniku:

Klasicky ctyrdenni etapovy zavod s jednim povinnym bivakem, ktery letos bude na polske strane. Delky trati jsou 222 km a 333 km. Mistrovstvi republiky v LONGu pro rok 2007 je vyhlaseno pro kategorii LT1 na 222km a pro ostatni kategorie LT2, LTO a LT na trati 333 km. Zavod je soucasti IRON SLED DOG MAN 2007. Zavod o delce 333 km je prestiznim zavodem a bude zahajen nocni etapou.

Listopad: Skoleni organizatoru zavodu, prohlidka trati na ceske a na polske strane, skoleni prvni pomoci a pravidel zavodu.

Rijen:

Putovni vystava fotografii tri fotografu- "Psi sprezeni v Orlickych horach" : Petry Anderlove, Miry Kubecka a Thomase Ackermanna. Destne, Duszniky, Praha- Chodovska tvrz.

Rok 2007 byl celosvetove vyhlasen " Mezinarodnim polarnim rokem " International Polar Year ".

K teto celosvetove vyznamne akci se Ceska Geograficka spolecnost, jeji Polarni sekce, rozhodla usporadat vystavu " Kouzlo Polarniho sveta" vystavu spojenou s radou vyznamnych doprovodnych programu a setkani s osobnostmi vedy, cestovateli a znalci polarniho sveta, at jiz severniho Arktidy ci Antarktidy. Akce probehne v terminu 15.11.2006- 7.1.2007 v Chodovske tvrzi v Praze.

Nad touto akci prevzali jiz nyni zastitu 1.mistopredseda Senatu CR pan JUDr.Petr Pithart, Ministr zivotniho prostredi pan RNDr.Libor Ambrozek, Ministerstvo skolstvi, sportu a mladeze CR. J.E. Jorgen Bojer, Ambassador Danskeho Kralovstvi v Praze, Rakouske kulturni forum, Ceska Geograficka spolecnost a.j.

Jiz odpradavna lide v krajich, kde je zima delsi dobu nez ostatni rocni obdobi, pouzivali k doprave osob i nakladu sane tazene sprezenim psu. Psi sprezeni bylo pouzivano i k objevovani neprobadanych polarnich kraju i k dosazeni obou polu.

Na teto vystave se budou podilet i organizatori Sedivackova longu, kterym zde byl nabidnut vystavni prostor a moznost predstavit psi sprezeni, neodmyslitelne spjate s polarnimi svety, pri vernisazi 15.11.2006 a pri doprovodne akci- "Polarni den" 9.12.2006. Zaroven 8.12.2006 probehne v Chodovske tvrzi prednaska o historii psich sprezeni a jejich vyuziti pro cloveka od dob velmi vzdalenych az po dnesni dny.

5.5.2006

Dne 5. kvetna probehla v Destnem - Jedlove, na penzionu Kristyna schuzka organizatoru a pomocniku pred zahajenim pripravnych akci na dalsi rocnik. Mimo jine se akce zucastnily senatorka Vendulka Domsova a cerstve narozena Kacenka Rampusakova, patronky Sedivackova longu pro rok 2007. Pavel Kucera predbezne oslavil sve narozeniny fialovym taznym psem na dorte.

V Lomnici nad Popelkou, na pude firmy Samohyl a.s., probehla schuzka reditele zavodu Pavla Kucery s hlavnimi sponzory zavodu. Rozebraly se chyby na prave zakoncenem rocniku a namety a pripominky pro dalsi rocnik XI.

Rampusakovi v lete

Zde nam dorazila fotografie zavodnika Tiang-jouly - south pool, ktery se predbezne prihlasil na Sedivackuv long 2007. Snimek zachycuje start pri treninku s jeho novym tymem: Nove, extra silne, usporne a rychle plemeno s minimalni narocnosti na krmeni a ubytovani.

V obdobi polarniho leta se nas zavodnik venuje priprave tohoto nadejneho plemene zatimco zbytek tymu odletel na letni vycvikovy tabor a trenuje preziti pri narocnem bivaku v snehovych podminkach.

Prejeme tymu hodne zdaru v pristi sezone!!!
